Tour “Val d’Orcia”
07:00 am Departure from Rome. The first stop of the tour is Castiglione d’ Orcia with its imposing fortress, we will continue towards Abbadia san Salvatore and its ancient Benedictine abbey, then we will go to Radicofani which stands on a hill overlooking the valley with its imposing guard tower.The next stop will be Montalcino, dominated by the 14th century fortress which offers a unique and unforgettable view. In Montalcino we will taste one of the most appreciated Italian wines: the Brunello di Montalcino. Moving east we will reach Pienza and then the harmonious Renaissance city of Montepulciano which is absolutely not to be missed.
The last leg of the tour includes a visit to Bagno Vignoni, a small unique thermal village with a series of ancient buildings surrounding the large Renaissance pool in the center of the square.
